Union Home and Cooperation Minister informed that under the MoU signed between the Ministry of Cooperation and Swiggy Limited on 25th April 2025, NCOL plans to launch ‘Bharat Organics’ brand products through Swiggy Instamart in Bengaluru, Chandigarh, and Hyderabad.
The MoU aims to strengthen digital and market integration of cooperative products and promote the vision of ‘Sahkar se Samriddhi’. It establishes a strategic partnership to enhance the visibility and accessibility of cooperative goods, especially in the dairy and organic sectors. It also focuses on building the capacities of cooperatives in digital marketing, logistics, and consumer technology.
As part of the agreement, Swiggy will collaborate with the Ministry to conduct awareness campaigns on the cooperative movement and its products. It will facilitate the onboarding of cooperative dairy products and ensure preferred access on its Instamart platform.
A dedicated category for cooperative brands, including organics, dairy, millets, and handicrafts, will be created on Swiggy.
This initiative will not only provide cooperatives with digital visibility but also create sustainable growth opportunities. It will help maximize their impact in the digital economy through marketing support, capacity building, and consumer engagement, thereby boosting rural entrepreneurship and empowering cooperative institutions across India.
