Maharashtra Water Resources Minister Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil and Cooperation Minister Babasaheb Patil jointly inaugurated the Loknete MLA Shivaji Kardile Auditorium at the Taluka Development Officer’s office premises in Chahurana Budruk. The occasion also marked the renovation of the main office building of the Ahilyanagar District Central Cooperative Bank (DCCB) and the formal launch of its newly established e-lobby.
The initiative aims to strengthen banking infrastructure and enhance customer convenience through upgraded digital facilities. The newly launched e-lobby is expected to offer modern banking services to farmers and account holders, enabling faster, secure, and more accessible transactions.
The leaders further highlighted that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the establishment of a dedicated Ministry of Cooperation for the first time in the country marked a historic step. Under the leadership of Union Cooperation Minister Amit Shah, policy initiatives from primary cooperative societies to district cooperative banks are providing renewed momentum to the cooperative movement nationwide.
The event was attended by MLA Monika Rajale, MLA Sangram Jagtap, Bank Chairman Chandrashekhar Ghule, Vice Chairman Madhavrao Kanavade, Dr. Sujay Vikhe Patil, members of the board of directors, and a large number of farmer-members and stakeholders.
