Himachal Pradesh Cooperative Minister Suresh Bhardwaj visited the headquarters of Kangra Central Cooperative Bank at Dharamshala last week and addressed the directors and senior officials of the bank.

On the occasion, he took stock of the situation of the bank and asked the officials to perform better to take the bank to newer heights.

In a bid to recover the NPA of Kangra Central Cooperative Bank, the Himachal Pradesh State Cooperative Minister Suresh Bhardwaj claimed that the draft for implementation of a one-time settlement scheme has been made.

The bank MD Vinay Kumar apprised the minister of the current situation of the bank.

During this, the bank officials also highlighted the fact that the non-renewal of old large loans under the existing CMA rules of NABARD is also one of the main reasons for the increase in NPAs of the bank.

On this occasion, Additional Registrar Co-operative Societies, Dharamshala Sukhdev Singh, Directors of the bank Chandra Bhushan Nag, Rajiv Mahajan, Gayatri Kapoor, Sher Singh Chauhan, and others were present.
