Minister lauds IFFCO’s social commitment & selfless service

Union Agriculture and farmers Welfare Minister Narendra Singh Tomar who visited Madhya Pradesh this weekend, was impressed to see first-hand a human face of cooperative when he saw the IFFCO’s commitment for social causes.

The matter relates to the district Muraina in MP where IFFCO organized an eye camp and treated a large number of patients. Tomar who himself belongs to Madhya Pradesh gathered information on how IFFCO officials fanned out in each and every block of the district and reached out to the needy.

Amazed by IFFCO’s commitment, the Minister himself informed that more than 2000 persons- old and helpless were treated by Dr Bajpai and the ever alert IFFCO team. I extend my thanks to them, he added.

Minister said that about 1500 persons were diagnosed as the ones who do not require operation and were disposed off after thorough medical examinations. They were provided with medicine and medical advice on how to care for their sights. A large number, about 750, however, were operated upon in just three days for which the camp was held, said the Minister.

He praised everyone including district administration, hospital administration for the exemplary work done with the help of IFFCO. He also vowed to work with the help of IFFCO on a bigger scale next year.
