Manvi Pattana Souharda Sahakari Bank Ni., Manvi, held its 23rd AGM recently at Vasavi kalyana mantap Manvi. Its founder president Sri. R Thimmaiah Setty presided over the meeting.
Several dignitaries including the Karnataka Minister of Animal Husbandry and Fisheries, Manvi MLA and a large number of leading cooperators attended the AGM.
Speaking in the AGM, Sri. R Thimmaiah Setty briefed about the growth of the bank in the past 23 years and its branch expansion since 2014-15 to till date. He also informed about the lendings of 63.15% for the priority sectors, 15.51% to weaker sections and 35% for women.
He said the bank is committed to the motto of profit making and invariably offers its members dividends. It has given 425% of dividends since its inception, he stated.
