In a major step towards enhancing the functioning of Urban Cooperative Banks (UCBs), Delhi Cooperation Minister Ravinder Inderjit Singh chaired a crucial review meeting with officials from the Registrar of Cooperative Societies.

The meeting aimed to safeguard customer interests and improve the transparency, security, and reliability of banking services offered by UCBs.

The discussions centered around key priority areas such as customer satisfaction, cyber security, and inclusive and accessible banking services. These areas were identified as critical to building public trust and ensuring that cooperative banks remain responsive to the evolving needs of their customers.

Minister Singh emphasized that the ultimate goal is to provide a secure, dependable, and technology-enabled banking experience to all customers.

He urged officials to adopt innovative solutions, upgrade infrastructure, and enhance digital safeguards to meet global banking standards.

The review meeting reaffirmed the Delhi government’s commitment to empowering the cooperative banking sector by promoting modern practices while keeping customer service at the forefront.
