Minister gives details of Nano urea sales in House

While replying to a query raised by one of the Lok Sabha MPs, Union Minister of State for Chemicals and Fertilizers Bhagwant Khuba said, “The total sale of IFFCO Nano Urea bottles (500ml) between August 2021-March 2022, April 2022-March 2023 and April 2023-18th July 2023 in Bihar was 45,94,734.

“In the same period, the total sale of Nano Urea Bottle in Jharkhand and West Bengal was 5,67,686 and 40,69,424 respectively”, he added.

Khuba further added, “The Government of India is not directly involved in setting up of Nano Urea Plants. However, IFFCO has informed that it is setting up a facility for manufacturing Nano Urea (liquid) at Deoghar (Jharkhand)”.
