The Kerala Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation (KCMMF), which owns the dairy brand Milma in the state has not taken kindly to the Centre privatizing NDDB saying it will put an end to the autonomy of the institution, media reports say.
K.S. Mani, chairman, KCMMF said this would seriously affect the co-operative dairy movement in the country.
Sources privy to the development say the center has sought suggestions and comments on the proposed amendments, which include a proposal to have an additional director from the private dairy industry for three years.
