Nafcub President Jyotindra Mehta was overwhelmed with the news of leading UCB Saraswat Bank beating all the major banking players including HDFC, ICICI and even SBI banks in the renowned Forbes Survey
“You know I am very happy today and I wish to thank Indian Cooperative for publishing the news capturing the details so well”, Mehta could not hold himself and called late evening to express himself.
I want everybody to know this that one of us could beat the banking giants when it comes to customer satisfaction. We have been telling this to people and now even a neutral rating agency Forbes has admitted the same, underlined Nafcub President.
Mehta also took pride in the fact that Saraswat Bank Chairman Gautam Thakur is on the Nafcub Board. Do you know that Shri Thakur is on our board? Mehta reminded Indian Cooperative.
It bears recall that the Saraswat Bank has been ranked second best bank in the country by Forbes survey. Singapore headquartered DBS bank is number one.
The private lender, HDFC Bank was ranked at third in the list whereas India’s largest Public Sector Bank, SBI did not even make it to top 10 of the list and was ranked 11th.
