Anil Patel, Legal Officer of Mehsana Urban Co-operative Bank, filed a complaint alleging loan fraud at the Gandhidham branch, reports Gujarat Samachar.
Between 2016 and 2020, Om Infrastructure, Bageshri Infotech’s Bijal Mehta, Manoj Chaudhary, and others took loans for construction projects but misused funds, leaving Rs 44.45 crore unpaid.
False valuation reports were submitted for schemes in Anjar, Galpadar, and Varsamedi. Additionally, Nadini Roadlines’ Shamji Myatra and others borrowed Rs 19.45 crore and failed to repay.
