The Meghalaya Co-operative Apex Bank (MCAB) won the third prize for Overall Best Performance under Two Tier Structure (2023-24) by the National Federation of State Cooperative Banks (NAFSCOB).
Awards will be presented in New Delhi this month. Previously, MCAB won first and second prizes in 2021-22 and 2020-21, respectively.
Operating for over 50 years, it offers electronic banking services like ATMs, mobile banking, and UPI. A profit-making institution, it has its own IFSC and joined the RBI’s Second Schedule in 2019.
