According to media reports, Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma recently stressed the importance of cooperative bodies in helping the farmers and entrepreneurs in the countryside.
The chief minister was speaking in a program entitled ‘Meghalaya Celebrating Entrepreneurs.
Conrad Sangma said Integrated Village Cooperative Societies and the producers’ groups are working to ensure the benefits of different programs trickle down to the grassroots level.
