Gujarat based Pragati Saving and Credit Cooperative Society organized an All India Cooperative Conference at Amreli last week which was attended by the who’s who of the cooperative sector.
Union Minister for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying Parshottam Rupala inaugurated the event. IFFCO & NCUI Chairman Dileep Sanghani, IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi, Nafed chairman Bijendra Singh, Biscomaun Chairman Sunil Kumar Singh and others participated in the conference.
Tweeting about the event, Rupala wrote on his twitter wall, “The newly constructed administrative building of Sri Pragati Savings and Credit Co-operative Society Limited was inaugurated yesterday after which the cooperation conference was inaugurated. On this occasion the book was also released written by my friend @Dileep_Sanghani”.
During the meeting, IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi talked about the Nano range of products and urged
the farmers to use it in their crops for better results. Bijendra Singh informed about the Nafed’s achievement and initiatives in the interest of farmers.
The cooperators who participated in the event wrote tweets which were later on shared by their followers in large numbers.
Huge hand drawn portraits of IFFCO Chairman Dileep Sanghani and MD Dr U S Awasthi were gifted to them during the event.
On this occasion a book was released on Dileep Sanghani’s role in the cooperative movement.
