The IRMA School at the “Tribhuvan” Sahkari University has inaugurated a Management Development Programme titled the “General Management Programme for Officers of the Cooperative Department, Government of Odisha” on Monday.
The programme was inaugurated in the presence of Dr. Saswata Biswas, In-Charge Director, IRMA School; and Dr. Ruchi Mishra and Dr. Seema Rawat, Co-coordinators of the programme.
Dr. Biswas welcomed the participants to the five-day programme, calling the MDP a reaffirmation of the purpose of the “Tribhuvan” Sahkari University, i.e. becoming a knowledge partner in India’s cooperative renaissance.
Dr. Singh and Dr. Mishra presented an overview of the programme, talking about how the classroom sessions as well as the field visits are oriented towards providing a holistic learning environment to the participants, in particular the visits to Amul, NDDB, the Cooperative Department, Government of Gujarat, among others.
The programme will also include sessions by Prof. CA. Asmita Vyas, Prof. Shambu Prasad Chebrolu, Prof. HS Shylendra, and Prof. Rahul Ashok Kamble.
