The fertilizer cooperative-IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi thanked the outgoing board led by Dileepbhai Sanghani for their successful tenure, which ended on 8th May 2024.
Awasthi wrote on ‘X’, “The existing Board had taken over on May 14, 2019, the progress made by the Society had been outstanding in terms of Production, Sales and Operating Results. IFFCO achieved its highest turnover, profit and production along with successful launch of IFFCO Nano Urea and Nano DAP”.
“On my personal behalf and on behalf of my colleagues as well as IFFCO family members, I express deep gratitude and sincere thanks to Shri Dileep Sanghani @Dileep_Sanghani Ji, Chairman, Shri Balvir Singh, Vice-Chairman and all the Board Members for their valuable guidance and contribution in conducting the affairs of the Society”, he further added.
It bears recalling that elections for the new board are going on and today the voting will be held for electing seven directors, as 14 have been elected unopposed.
The outgoing Board and its Committees held 186 Nos. of Meetings overall. The Board has always upheld cooperative values and principles.
