Veteran cooperative leader Satish Marathe, Director on the Boards of the Reserve Bank of India (and NABARD visited the BISCOMAUN headquarters in Patna on Thursday.
On his arrival, Marathe was warmly received by Vishal Singh, Chairman of BISCOMAUN, who presented him with a memento and angavastram as a mark of respect and appreciation. Senior directors and officials of BISCOMAUN were also present during the ceremony.
During the interaction, Marathe held extensive discussions on various issues related to the cooperative movement, rural financing, and the role of cooperative institutions in strengthening the agricultural economy.
Chairman Vishal Singh briefed Marathe on BISCOMAUN’s ongoing initiatives for farmers, including fertilizer distribution, agri-input support, and promotion of cooperative-based entrepreneurship in Bihar and neighbouring states.
