According to the Sangai Express reports, Manipur State Cooperative Bank (MSCB] disbursed loans of Rs 37, 49, 000 among farmers who are members of seven PACS based in Thoubal district.
The loans were given through the Kisan Credit Card (KCC) scheme launched by the central government in the interest of farmers.
The Bank has been providing loans to the farmers for years at a nominal interest rate of 4 percent, claimed president Pangambam Ranjjt Singh of the Bank.
