Mahesh Bank contributes Rs 50 lakh to CM Fund

Telangana based AP Mahesh Cooperative Urban Bank which is known as Mahesh Bank has contributed Rs 50 lakh towards the Telangana Chief Minister Relief Fund (CMRF) on Wednesday.

The Bank Chairman Emeritus Ramesh Kumar Bung, Chairman Purshottamdas Mandhana and Managing Director Umesh Asawa personally handed over the cheque to State Agriculture and Cooperation Minister S. Niranjan Reddy.

Sharing the news with Indian Cooperative correspondent.the bank MD Asawa said , “We have given Rs 50 lakh towards the Telangana CM Relief Fund but we are also planning to give Rs 25 lakh towards the PM Cares Fund in order to help in the fight against the coronavirus”, he added.

Three more deaths and 30 positive cases of COVID-19 were reported in Telangana on Wednesday, taking the total number of deaths to nine and total cases to 106.
