Central Registrar of Cooperative Societies issued an order for winding up of one more multi state credit cooperative society i.e. Maharani Multi State Cooperative Credit Society of Rajasthan.
A day prior to issuing an order to this society, the CRCS issued order for winding up three societies of Rajasthan i.e. Wagar Credit Cooperative Society, Jodhpur based Welcome India Credit Cooperative Society and Amardeep Credit Cooperative Society.
In its order on 6th June 2024, the CRCS asked the registrar of cooperative societies, government of Rajasthan to appoint the officer of registrar of cooperative societies to take further necessary action as per the provisions of Act & rules made thereunder.
“The liquidator shall finalize the liquidation proceedings to wind up the society and shall also submit the state report showing the progress made in liquidation of the society to this office on a quarterly basis”, the CRCS order copy reads.
The CRCS order added, “A Show Cause Notice dated 12.10.2023 followed by a subsequent reminder dated 04.01.2024 was issued to the Chairman/Chief Executive of Society for explanation, but no reply from the Society was received in this Office”.
