Maharashtra cooperation minister has warned action will be taken against all those cooperative societies and sugar factories involved in irregularities, claims a PTI report.
Inquiries in about 2,000 cases of irregularities against sugar factories and credit societies that had earlier been stayed by the previous govt. would soon be reopened by the new govt, said the minister.
The minister revealed action has already been taken against 40 directors of Kolhapur central cooperative bank, the report says.
