The Directorate office of the Maharashtra State Cooperative Union was inaugurated by Minister Chandrakant Patil in the presence of key leaders from the cooperative sector.
Among those present were Chairman of the Union Pravin Darekar, Vidyadhar Anaskar, and Cooperation Commissioner Deepak Tawre, along with other officials and members of the cooperative fraternity.
Addressing the gathering, Patil emphasized that training is the most effective tool to strengthen the cooperative movement. He highlighted the need to equip stakeholders with modern skills and knowledge to enhance efficiency and governance within the sector.
Echoing similar sentiments, Pravin Darekar said that with strong support from the state government, the cooperative movement in Maharashtra will gain renewed momentum.
The inauguration marks a step towards strengthening the institutional framework of the cooperative sector in the state.
