The Maharashtra government opposed the petition filed by an activist in the Bombay High Court against the clean chit given to Ajit Pawar and other accused in the alleged MSCB scam, reports Free Press Journal.
The petitioner sought the matter to be transferred to the CBI. The court would hear the petition on March 22.
Sources say the closure report filed by the EOW has multiple co-operators saying the coalition govt is going out of the way to shield Ajit Pawar.
