One of the directors of Lokmanya Multipurpose Cooperative Society Sai Thakur Bijlani felicitated Rajendra Arlekar, the newly appointed governor of Himachal Pradesh at its Taliego branch at Goa.
The news was shared by the official social media handle of the society. Soon after the felicitation ” Shri Rajendra Arlekar, newly appointed as Governor of Himachal Pradesh is felicitated by Mrs Sai Thakur Bijlani, director, Lokmanya Society at our Taleigao Branch, Goa”.
It bears recalling that the former Goa assembly speaker and a member of the founding team of the state Bharatiya Janata Party, Rajendra Arlekar, was last week appointed as the governor of Himachal Pradesh. He is the first Goan to occupy the constitutional post.
