Emphasising the growing role of socially oriented finance, LKP Multistate Cooperative and Suryoday Urban Cooperative Bank jointly unveiled their ‘Social Banking Calendar–2026’ at a modest but meaningful ceremony.
The calendar was released by former soldiers, symbolising discipline, service and nation-first values that inspire cooperative banking. The gesture struck an emotional chord with participants and reinforced the sector’s commitment to community welfare beyond balance sheets.
Social banking initiatives such as financial inclusion, support to self-help groups, women entrepreneurs and grassroots livelihoods have increasingly defined cooperative institutions across India.
Organisers said the 2026 calendar will showcase year-round activities aligned with sustainable development and inclusive growth, reflecting how cooperatives blend banking with social responsibility nationwide.
