LINAC trains PACS and FPOs from Gujarat

In a significant initiative to empower rural cooperative institutions, the NCDC’s LINAC organized a two-day residential training program for members of Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS) and Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) from Gujarat.

The training focused on strengthening the foundational and operational capacities of grassroots-level cooperatives.

Participants were introduced to key reforms and innovations in the cooperative sector, with sessions covering decentralized grain storage, setting up and managing Jan Aushadhi Kendras, PACS computerization, and the introduction of Micro-ATMs to expand financial inclusion in rural areas.

This initiative aligns with the national vision of “Sahkar Se Samriddhi”, aiming to modernize and energize cooperatives as engines of inclusive growth.

LINAC continues to play a pivotal role in capacity-building efforts for cooperatives across the country, and this program marks another step towards creating a strong, tech-enabled, and community-driven cooperative network.
