Uttarakhand based Kurmanchal Nagar Cooperative Bank has marked a major milestone by inaugurating its 50th and 51st branches in Uttarakhand, strengthening its regional presence and pushing for financial inclusion.

The new branches were opened at Lohaghat in Champawat on March 24 and at Nanakmatta in Udham Singh Nagar on March 25. Chairman Vinay Sah inaugurated both branches amid strong community participation.

The expansion, completed ahead of the financial year-end in line with ECBA norms, reflects the bank’s steady growth strategy. Secretary Sanjay Sah highlighted the bank’s focus on customer-centric services, including internet banking and upcoming UPI-enabled solutions to enhance convenience for traders and institutions.

He expressed confidence that the bank will cross Rs 4,500 crore in total business turnover this fiscal. Senior officials and directors attended the ceremonies.

With this expansion, the bank aims to deepen outreach and better serve local communities, reinforcing its commitment to inclusive and technology-driven banking across the state.
