A Kisan Mela organised in Deoria, Uttar Pradesh, witnessed the presence of the state agriculture minister Suryapratap Shahi as the chief guest. During the event, the minister visited the KRIBHCO stall and appreciated the cooperative’s active participation in the fair, which aimed at promoting agricultural awareness and farmer-centric initiatives.
The KRIBHCO stall showcased information on fertilisers, soil health management, and farmer support services, drawing the attention of a large number of visiting farmers. The minister interacted with representatives at the stall and acknowledged the role of cooperatives in supporting agricultural development and improving farm productivity in the region.
As part of the programme, KRIBHCO also undertook a social welfare initiative by distributing blankets to needy individuals to provide protection from the cold. The activity was well received by attendees and reflected the cooperative’s commitment to community welfare alongside its core agricultural activities.
The minister was welcomed at the KRIBHCO stall by the regional manager of the Gorakhpur region, along with other senior officials of the organisation, who were present during the event.
