KRIBHCO MD attends Nadda led India-Egypt Talks

KRIBHCO’s Managing Director Sunder Singh Yadav, participated as a key member of the Indian delegation to Egypt, led by Union Minister of Chemicals & Fertilizers and Health & Family Welfare J.P. Nadda. The visit focused on expanding cooperation in the phosphatic fertilizer value chain and securing long-term partnerships to strengthen India’s fertilizer security.

During the mission, Yadav took part in a series of high-level meetings with top Egyptian leadership, including the Foreign Minister H.E. Dr. Badr Abdelatty, the Deputy Prime Minister for Industries & Transportation H.E. Mr. Kamel Al-Wazir, and the Minister of Petroleum & Mineral Resources H.E. Eng. Karim Badawi. The discussions centred on enhancing collaboration in phosphates, raw material supply, investments and joint ventures.

Yadav also joined a round-table meeting with leading Egyptian fertilizer companies, chaired by Nadda, where both sides explored opportunities for expanding trade, technology exchange and supply chain resilience in phosphatic fertilizers.

Later, he interacted with members of the Indian community at the India House in Cairo, highlighting India’s efforts to diversify its fertilizer sources and strengthen global partnerships.

The visit marks an important step in building a resilient, diversified and future-ready phosphatic value chain to support India’s agriculture sector.
