Kota Central Co-op Bank celebrates 100th Foundation Day

Rajasthan’s Kota Central Cooperative Bank Limited marked its 100th Foundation Day on Sunday with a grand ceremony at its head office in Shrinathpuram, where a Sahakar Gallery showcasing the bank’s rich legacy was inaugurated.

The gallery was formally inaugurated by Balwinder Singh Gill, Managing Director of the bank and Additional Registrar, Cooperative Department, Kota Zone, in the presence of Deputy Registrar Rajesh Meena and Additional Executive Officer Rajni Meena.

The Sahakar Gallery displays framed photographs, articles, and rare records depicting the bank’s glorious 100-year journey, including its establishment, branch inaugurations, awards received from apex and regulatory institutions, old buildings, and historical documents.

Addressing the gathering, Gill shared insights from his extensive research on the bank’s history and announced that a book documenting its legacy would be published soon. He highlighted that the bank was the first cooperative bank of Rajputana, established on February 1, 1927, during the reign of Maharav Umed Singh II.

Deputy Registrar Rajesh Meena emphasized the need for collective efforts by staff to enhance customer service, technological capability, and public outreach. Rajni Meena and senior bank officials also addressed the program, underlining the importance of upholding the bank’s values and traditions.
