The Kheda District Central Cooperative Bank Ltd., Nadiad successfully organized the ‘Sahkarita Samvad’ program at its head office under the guidance of NABARD, with the special presence of NABARD’s Chief General Manager, B.K. Singhal.
The initiative aimed to strengthen cooperation among cooperative institutions and support the vision of “Sahkar Se Samriddhi” given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Cooperation Minister Amit Shah.
The event reviewed the bank’s recent NABARD inspection and showcased its progressive work in the cooperative sector. Under the leadership of Gujarat State Cooperative Bank Chairman Ajaybhai Patel, the program emphasized reaching government schemes to the grassroots level, ensuring direct payments to dairy societies, and promoting village-level banking facilities.
Over 100 participants, including Chairmen and Secretaries of dairy and service cooperative societies, attended.
On this occasion, certificates were awarded to Khorwad and Faloli Seva Sahkari Mandalis for becoming new Apex societies. Through the Loan Management System (LMS), digital sanction letters were issued, and Micro ATMs were distributed to Bandhipur and Dhori Parab (Andhari Ambli) Milk Societies. The CMS (Cash Management System) was also launched to ensure timely payments to dairy societies.
Singhal praised the bank’s digital initiatives and lauded the leadership of Chairman Tejaskumar B. Patel and the Board for their innovation and commitment to cooperative development.
