Haryana Chief Minister said his government will provide loan up to Rs five crore to Cooperative Societies for cooperative farming, that will include subsidy of Rs one crore, reports Press Trust of India.
The chief minister the amount would be given without guarantee.
Addressing a social function at Ambala, M L Kattar said cooperative farming needed to be adopted in cash crops as well, he said.
The chief minister underlined the necessity of the cooperative model in agriculture as the land holdings were fast shrinking, the chief minister suggested.
