Kerala State Co-op Bank observes Vigilance Awareness Week

As part of Vigilance Awareness Week, the Kerala State Cooperative Bank regional office at Thiruvananthapuram organized a Vigilance Awareness Program 2024 last week, which was inaugurated by the Chairman of the bank’s Board of Management, V. Ravindran.

The ceremony, presided over by bank Director Adv. S. Shajahan, featured speeches from Director Adv. G. Laloo and Board Member Mr. B.P. Pillai. During the event, Chief Executive Officer Jorty M. Chacko took an oath to uphold vigilance principles.

Mr. James P. George, Deputy General Manager of NABARD, delivered the keynote address, emphasizing the importance of integrity in banking operations.

The program was welcomed by Firoz Khan P.M., Regional General Manager of Thiruvananthapuram, with thanks expressed by Vineet P.S., Deputy General Manager of the Thiruvananthapuram CPC.

The event saw participation from Kerala Bank officials, representatives from primary agricultural cooperative societies, and members of self-help groups.
