Kerala’s UDF MPs and MLAs are likely to meet President Pranab Mukherjee in Delhi on the issue of demonetization and the crisis faced by cooperative banks, reports Indian Express.
Sources say the leaders would stage a dharna in front of the Rashtapathi Bhavan led by senior Congress leader A K Antony.
They would also meet Union Finance Minister and Union Food and Civil Supplies Minister to draw their attention to the problems faced by the people of the state.
Earlier communist leaders led by Kerala chief minister had also staged a dharna before the RBI office in Thiruvanpuram protesting demonetization.
