Kerala Minister for Cooperation V.N. Vasavan recently met state law officers regarding changes to be made in the cooperative law, reports Hindu.
Sources say the changes will soon be made considering the central govt has amended the Banking Regulations, Act.
Meanwhile while speaking at a function organized by the Kanjoor Cooperative Bank, Kerala’s minister for Industries P. Rajeeve praised cooperatives saying thanks to the efforts put in by the cooperative sector the living conditions of the ordinary people have greatly improved in Kerala.
