Kerala Govt nominates two to Kerala State Co-op Union

The Government of Kerala has nominated two government representatives to the Managing Committee of the Kerala State Co-operative Union under Section 89(4)(9) of the Kerala Co-operative Societies Act, 1969.

According to the G.O  issued by the Co-operation (D) Department, the appointments follow proceedings dated February 7, 2026, of the Election Returning Officer for the State Co-operative Union Managing Committee.

The government has nominated Romeo Sebastian of Idukki and Karayi Rajan of Kannur as its representatives on the committee.

The order was issued from Thiruvananthapuram by the Additional Secretary, by order of the Governor. The nominations are effective with immediate effect.
