According to media reports, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan inaugurated an expo on the cooperative movement and cooperatives in Kochi recently.
Speaking on this occasion, the cooperative minister V.N.Vasan said the nine-day event is not only aimed to provide the cooperative sector with visibility as an alternative model for development but also acquaint the general public with achievements in the sector. .
The expo has products from across the entire state. There are nearly 300 stalls spread over one lakh square feet.
All kinds of cooperative bodies including primary cooperatives and leading international cooperative organizations are taking part in the fair.
