Leader of Opposition Ramesh Chennithala in Kerala said if they won the upcoming assembly elections the Congress-led UDF would stop the Kerala Bank’ from functioning.
Opposition parties call the Kerala Bank an illegal entity. The bank was launched in 2019.
From the very beginning, the Left government had been resolved to establish the Kerala Bank by merging 14 district cooperative banks with the Kerala State Cooperative Bank (KSCB).
