Keep IFFCO’s culture in mind; Sanghani to new Directors

Explaining IFFCO’s success to its commitment to rules and regulations, IFFCO Chairman Dileep Sanghani exhorted the newly elected Directors to stick to principles and not get swayed by what people say.

“Many people will come to you now, even those who never cared for you; they will ask you for favor citing your rise in the world’s number one cooperative; you have to be vigilant and not get influenced by their exaggerations. IFFCO stands proudly today due to its values and you must observe the same”, said Sanghani to new entrants.

It bears recall that IFFCO elected five new Directors on Thursday, arising out of casual vacancies. They are Jagdeep Singh Nakai (Ex-MLA), Manvendra Singh, Dinesh Kumar Singh (IAS), Umesh Tripathi, and Parikipandla Narahari (IAS).

Continuing his speech Sanghanai said “IFFCO is not for profit but for social services. We have suffered losses to the tune of Rs 1000 crores during the pandemic and yet we delivered fertilizer to farmers on time; this is IFFCO”, coached Sanghani.

“There are forces inimical to IFFCO and they do not let go of any chance to spread rumors against us; you have to be careful and keep reminding yourselves that a co-operative which gives 20% Dividends year after year cannot do so if does not abide by ethics”, explained the Chairman.
