Kashmir based Women Welfare Multipurpose Cooperative hoisted the National Tricolor at Kulgam and created awareness about the Nano Urea among participants.
On this occasion, 240 bottles of Nano Urea were sold among the women participants. The cooperative President Shakeela Akhter urged the participants to use Nano Urea which is beneficial for their crops and will also contribute to fulfil the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi of doubling the farmers income.
Later on, the cooperative was specially mentioned in IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi’s twitter. He wrote, “The National Flag Tricolour was also hosted by cooperators of Kashmir in a small ceremony at their cooperative society in Kulgam, Kashmir. Women cooperators also participated and celebrated the #AzadiKaAmritMahotsav”.
Over 200 women are associated with the Women Welfare Multipurpose Cooperative and created 44 societies consisting of 11 women each, said Akhter while talking to Indian Cooperative on the phone.
