Deccan Herald reports Karnataka urban development minister recently said in Udupi the cooperative sector that has vastly changed over the years plays an important role in the agriculture sector.
The cooperative sector should work together with the state government to benefit farmers, he said.
The minister also shared details about various schemes the govt has initiated to help farmers overcome their difficulties including their financial ones, he noted.
