The Karnataka govt will digitize Primary Agriculture Cooperative Societies (PACS) with a view to boosting transparency in disbursal of loans to farmers, reports Deccan Herald.
According to the cooperation minister, the computerization will be completed within a year. Karnataka has 400 PACS in all.
The state govt. will spend Rs 50 crore the digitization while the rest will come from the centre and DCC Banks.
