During his two-day tour to Karnataka, Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah will be participating in several cooperative events scheduled for 30th and 31st December 2022.
On 30th December 2022, he will participate in the dairy cooperative event, which will be organized by Mandya District Cooperative Milk Producers Societies Union at Gejjalagere. The union is one of the milk unions of Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF). Shah will inaugurate a mega dairy in Mandya. Mandya District Co-operative Milk Producers Society’s Union has envisaged establishment of mega dairy plant at Gejjalagere near Maddur Tehsil Dairy Campus last year.
Later, in the evening, he will deliver a speech at the cooperative gala event at the Palace Ground, Bangalore, in which over 10k co-operators are likely participate. Karnataka Chief Minister B S Basavaraj Bommai will also be present on this occasion with his other cabinet colleagues in attendance.
On 31st December 2022, he will visit the headquarters of Bangalore based Karnataka State Souharda Federal Cooperative and interact with cooperators. “We will present our issues including Income tax exemption before the Union Cooperation Minister and the money of Souharda co-ops stuck in the scam-ridden Guru Raghavendra Rao bank”, said BH Krishna Reddy former Chairman, KSSFCL.
