Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has announced that the 72nd Cooperative Week celebrations will begin on November 14, coinciding with the birth anniversary of Jawaharlal Nehru.
The inaugural ceremony, to be held at Palace Grounds in Bengaluru, will focus on strengthening and promoting the cooperative movement across the state.
Statewide events are planned throughout the week, culminating in Chamarajanagara on November 20.
The concluding ceremony will also feature the presentation of the prestigious ‘Sahakara Ratna’ award, recognizing outstanding contributions to the cooperative sector.
