PTI quotes Nabard saying it will pay for the Water, Sanitisation and Hygiene “WASH” program under the pan-India Sanitary Literacy Campaign (SLC) in 100 villages in Karnataka.
Initially, the program will be carried out in Shivamogga, Tumakuru, Uttara Kannada, Hassan and Kalaburagi.
Nabard has earmarked Rs 800 crore in the FY 2020-21 for supporting the WASH program across the country.
