Karnataka Minister cooperative minister S T Somashekar said the state government would like CBI to investigate misappropriation of funds in the Sri Guru Raghavendra Sahakara Bank Niyamitha and Sri Vasista Credit Souharda Sahakari Ltd (SVCSSL), reports Indian Express.
The minister said a formal decision would be taken in the matter after the next cabinet meeting.
It bears recalling that the minister had said in the previous assembly session ” the total misappropriation of funds discovered in SVCSSL is about Rs 280 crore and about Rs 2.56 crore has been recovered from the defaulters”.
