The Kanaka Giri House Building Co-operative Society in Karnataka is in choppy seas as it is supposed to have indulged in rank nepotism and favouratism in allotting housing sites.
The state Lokayukta has asked the housing society’s officials to make available all documents regarding the sites alloted to some people. Sources say, the housing society smells of rot and the govt has got to stop the rot.
Sources add some high ups in the state politics involved in the sordid affairs of the cooperative society need to be punished if the ends of justice are not to be defeated.
Meanwhile, some eminent citizens have hailed the Lokayukta police wing beginning investigation into the dirty affairs of the society.
