Karnataka cooperator kills self

P Nagaraj age 75 a Congress leader and an important leader of cooperative movement in Karnataka recently committed suicide. His sudden death has shocked the cooperative circles in the state. Mr Nagraj had been close to several political heavyweights in Karnataka.

Nagraj had been the director of Mysore city cooperative bank for the last several decades. He had the distinction of heading several other cooperative banks and organizations including MDCC bank and Janta Bazar.

Nagaraj had lately been facing financial as well as medical problems. His self-murder is being attributed to these developments.
