In a significant achievement for the cooperative banking sector in Telangana, the Karimnagar District Cooperative Central Bank (DCCB) has been adjudged the No. 1 Best Performing DCCB in India for the financial year 2024–25, marking the 9th time the bank has secured this prestigious honour.

The award was presented at a national-level cooperative banking event held in Gangtok on Tuesday. The honour was conferred by Arun Upreti, Minister for Cooperation and Rural Development, Sikkim, to CEO N. Satyanarayana Rao. The ceremony was attended by former chairman of the bank Konduru Ravinder Rao and senior cooperative leader Satish Marathe, among others.

Speaking on the occasion, Rao expressed pride in the achievement, attributing the success to strong leadership, dedicated staff, and the continued trust of farmers and rural customers. He said the recognition reflects the bank’s consistent commitment to financial inclusion and grassroots credit delivery.

The award underscores Karimnagar DCCB’s pivotal role in strengthening the rural economy through efficient banking services and innovative cooperative practices, further reinforcing Telangana’s growing prominence in the cooperative sector.
