Kapur led IFFCO Kisan SEZ records highest ever turnover

IFFCO Kisan SEZ (IKSEZ) recorded the highest ever turnover of Rs 250 crore with an export of 60,000 tons of Indian White rice to Malaysia as part of GOI efforts to supply rice to friendly countries during the FY 2023-24.

IFFCO Kisan SEZ, IFFCO’s vision to promote industries and exports, has developed an industrial park of 2777 acres at Nellore in Andhra Pradesh.

IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi congratulated Rakesh Kapur who is managing director of IKSEZ and IFFCO Joint MD.

IKSEZ is an Agribusiness Special Economic Zone based on the concept of Integrated Agropark. It comes with various customs duty, income tax and sales tax concessions provided by the Government of India to promote economic activity in notified special economic zones.

The objective of IKSEZ is to empower the Indian farmer by developing a “Farmer Owned – Farmer Managed” SEZ with state of the art infrastructure facilities catering primarily to the food processing industry and housing global manufacturing majors.
