Jagdish Sapehia Chairman Kangra central cooperative bank has claimed his bank’s working capital has spiked to Rs 18 thousand crore making it one of the largest cooperative banks from Himachal Pradesh in the country.
The bank has managed to have a net profit of Rs 36.6 crore with a customer base of 10 lakh. The bank plans to increase its profit to Rs100 crore in the next years.
Presently, the bank has operations only in 5 districts in the state, said Sapehia.
According to Saturday’s press conference by the bank officials it is planning to recruit 500 employees in different categories during the next one year. Chairman KCCB, Jagdish Sapehia, informed this while addressing a press conference here on Saturday.
